When I Found You

I've found more in life than sunshine
     I've wandered through some rain
I've hurt myself,
     As people sometimes do
But through the rainy days
     A true love came
To chase my fear away
This love that I've found is You
You make me want to say

I found joy,
     I found freedom
When I found You
I found love,
     I found reason
When I found You
All I'll ever dream or hope for,
     All I'll ever need
That's what I found
     When I found You

If the earth beneath crumbles
If the sky above me falls
If my heart is torn
     By sorrows old or new
Through my darkest days
     Your love will stay
To meet my deepest need
Close to the heart of You
Is where I'm gonna be

Chorus

All I'll ever dream or hope for,
     All I'll ever need
That's what I found
     When I found You

I found You...

Send The Call

Send the call, Lord, send the call
I'll answer You and give my all
Winter, Summer, Springtime, Fall
     Whenever You send the call

Nothing really matters to me but You
     Seeking You, pleasing You
Look in my heart
     And You'll find it's true
I wanna be, I've gotta be
     I'm gonna be like You

Chorus

Purify my heart to delight in You
Thrilled by You, stilled by You
Doing nothing less or more
     Than You call me to
Completely filled by You

In the times I have to wait
To see Your perfect will take shape
I'll stand right here
     through faith and fear
Til You call me
And when You call me
     I will follow You

Chorus

Whenever You send the call
     Whenever You send the call

Shine Thru Me

Shine thru me, shine thru me
     Light of the world
Shine thru me
Brighten up the darkness
As Your glory shines in me
Light of the world
     Shine thru me

On a road to nowhere
     Feeling sorry for myself
All the dreams I called my own
     Being lived by someone else
Must I choose to lose it all
     To find Your holy way
Then, Lord, heal my heart
     So I can say

Chorus

Jesus, make me man enough
To get up when I fall
Let me be a boy enough
To love You most of all
Lord, I lay me down for You
Please help me on the way
Purify my heart
     So I can say

Chorus

Jesus, I'll still trust You
When hope seems gone to stay
Here am I, broken, Lord
     Ready now to say

Chorus

Light of the world
     Shine thru me
Shine thru me...

Love Along The Way

We gotta love along the way...

Bitter words
And broken brothers in a rage
Will we know the truth
     By walking separate ways
Walkin' blind
     But there's still time

We gotta love along the way
We gotta love along the way
If we're gonna heal this broken land
We're gonna do it hand in hand
We gotta love along the way

The truth of God never changes
     But His people do
If we're walking the wrong way
He's gonna change our point of view
Truth will stand
     By His hand

Chorus

We can heal this broken land
     But we gotta change
While we still can
We gotta love along the way
We gotta love, love
     Love along the way

The Donkey Song

On the sleepy shores of Galilee
     On a ordinary day
The burro strains beneath his heavy load
He never stops to wonder
Why his life turned out this way
He just keeps on moving down the road

On the roadside, little children crowd
     Around a strong young man
While their parents try
     To turn His words away
The burro tries to listen
     Much as any burro can
To the strong but gentle words
Of this strong but gentle man

He said, "My yoke is easy
     And my burden is light
Let Me guide your way
     I'll always lead you right
Doin' donkey work can make you old
     Before your time
Unless you've got a greater goal in mind"

The burro's master and his mama
Drag him down a dusty road
When they could have stopped
     To rest in Jericho
There must have been a reason
     For walkin' all this way
But a lowly little burro never knows

The master tied them out at Bethany
Where he left them for a while
He never saw two strangers come and go
St. Peter said to the burro
"You're right where you're meant to be
A burro to be used by the Man from Galilee"

Chorus

The burro's back had never felt
     The weight of any man
He'd always been weighed down
     With pointless things
Now he saw the reason
For the life he'd had to live
It brought here to serve the King of Kings

Chorus

So while you're doin' donkey work,
Keep the greater goal in mind

I Still Believe

Voices in the hallway
     Echo in my memory
I hear Papa callin' Mama's name
He never got an answer
     She closed her eyes
And then the baby came

I remember Papa
     Lookin' at her picture
Late at night,
     Then he'd start to pray
Tears would fill his eyes
But when he'd reach up to the sky
He touched a piece of heaven
     And he'd say

I still believe
     Jesus died on the tree
He gave His life
     So I could be free
And I still believe
That He rose from the grave
I will not be swayed
     I still believe

Some people say the gospel
     Is nothing but a fable
Just another story to be told
But when Papa reached for Jesus
     He always came back down
With pure gold

When trouble would surround us
It was Papa's faith that bound us
Close in love and trust in Jesus' name
Now as dark as things can be
I know Jesus walks with me
And the wisdom of these words
     Will light my way

Chorus

I will not be swayed
     I still believe

Only My Dreams Remain

Only my dreams remain unchanged
To see me through the years
The stubborn, steadfast hopes
That pull me through my fears
And when the night grows long
I see them through my tears
Then at the break of day
     Only my dreams remain

Only my dreams remain unchanged
     At times I wonder why
A boy became a man
     I barely recognize
Still, from the fallow ground
     Of someone once so wise
I've found a few things grow
The dreams that I can't let go

Someday I'll be strong again
I'll be what I'm meant to be
Someday I'll look back and then
I'll know what it means
     To live out my dreams
Someday I'll be strong again
     I'll know what it means
To live out my dreams

Only my dreams remain unchanged
To see me through the years
The stubborn, steadfast hopes
That pull me through my fears
And when the night grows long
I see them through my tears
I'll see a better day, someday
     When only my dreams remain
Only my dreams remain
     Only my dreams remain

Brand New Day

Nine o'clock and your nite light's on
     Such a busy day
Now it's almost gone
     You're snuggled close
Beside your old Pooh bear

So many things I wanna say to you
     But you're sleepin' sound
I should be soon
As I watch you lyin' there
     I can't go anywhere

Good night, sweet boy
     Your daddy loves you
And I promise you
     I'll never go away
Good night, sweet boy
     Your daddy loves you
And tomorrow we'll have
     Lots of time to play
Yeah, tomorrow's gonna be
     A brand new day

I held you close
     When you were born
I touched your face
     So soft and warm
And I knew I loved you
     More than anything

Now, little guy
     You're growing fast
My time with you
     Will soon be past
I won't waste a day
     But for now
I've gotta say

Chorus

Nothin' makes me smile
     Like the things you do
Nothin' fills this heart with joy
     Like spending time with you

Chorus

Yeah, tomorrow's gonna be
     A brand new day

Good night, bud...

Jesus Loves You

Jesus loves you
     Jesus loves you
And it breaks my heart
     That I can't break
Through to you

Jesus loves you
     Jesus loves you
And His love
     Is the key you need
To set you free

Holdin' on to foolish things
     That tear your soul apart
All you'll gain is a hollow pride
     And a helpless, homesick heart

Jesus loves you
     Jesus loves you
And it breaks His heart
     That He can't break
Through to you

Jesus loves you
     Jesus loves you
And I do, too...

You Are The Joy Of My Life

You are the joy of my life
You are the song that I sing
You gave me sunshine
     Deep in my heart
I praise You in everything

When I was lost
     And all on my own
You helped me to make a stand
You told me You had this plan
Than would make me a happy man

Then came the first part
     To open my heart
While You came to live within
It's like you threw all my sin
Into an ocean without an end

Chorus

Come live inside me
     Always remind me
Our side is gonna win
To never look back at sin
     To praise You again
And again

New hallelujahs
     Going up to ya
I worship and praise the Son
My new life has just begun
The victory has just been won

Chorus
